Join us for a thrilling birdwatching adventure starting from Marrakech, where we’ll either meet you at your hotel or pick you up from the Marrakech airport (overnight accommodation before the tour is available upon request). Our journey kicks off with a picturesque drive through the High Atlas Mountains, offering scenic vistas along the way. As we travel, keep an eye out for local bird species such as the Moroccan Magpie, Moussier’s Redstart, Southern Grey Shrike, Little Owl, Sardinian Warbler, and House Bunting. As we ascend the rocky slopes, we may spot the stunning Blue Rock Thrush and the elusive Levaillant’s Green Woodpecker. First, we’ll head to the famous Tagdilt track, a birdwatching hotspot in Morocco, where you’ll encounter species like Trumpeter Finch, Thekla Lark, Hoopoe Lark, Temminck’s Lark, Short-toed Lark, Red-rumped Wheatear, Cream-coloured Courser, Desert Wheatear, and the nomadic Thick-billed Lark. We’ll also explore the stunning Dades Gorge, where you might spot Bonelli’s Eagles and Tristram’s Warbler. After a full day of birding, we’ll return to Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight accommodation at a local hotel.
Day 4: Ouarzazate – Marrakech (End of Birding Tour)
On the final day, we’ll head back to Marrakech, passing through the scenic High Atlas Mountains once more. We’ll make a few birding stops along the way to get the most out of your birdwatching experience. In the afternoon, we’ll arrive in Marrakech, where you’ll enjoy a final dinner before your tour concludes, and we’ll accommodate you at a local hotel.
